Carrots with honey and almonds

Carrots with honey and almonds have a pleasant aftertaste of nougat.

Ingredients

8/10 carrots

10 g peeled almonds

1 spoonful of wildflower honey

2 spoonful of extra virgin olive oil

salt, pepper

thyme

Preparation

Clean and peel the carrots. Preheat the oven at 180°C. Cover a pan with greaseproof paper and put the carrots in it. Add oil, salt, pepper, thyme and honey. Cook the carrots with honey and almonds for about 20 minutes, until tender and well cooked.

 

Serve warm.
