For fifteen years, which went by rather quickly, I’ve been trying to narrate the world and its inhabitants. I’ve known the frenetic world of news, the exploration offered by reportage journalism and the complexity of investigative journalism. Asia was my gym. I left it to embark on other paths, though I often return. I’m especially interested in civil rights and who fights for them: from Nepal’s disappeared to Albanian children victims of feuds. L’Unità, Peacereporter, East, Skytg24, L’Espresso, Popoli e Missione, Le Monde Diplomatique are among my travelling companions. I love rock and nature, even when they’re not in vogue.

Favourite quote:

“The free soul is rare, but you know it when you see it: basically because you feel good, very good, when you are near or with them” (Charles Bukowsky)
