Iceland won’t hunt any whales this year and perhaps ever again
For the first time in seventeen years, Iceland’s two main whaling companies won’t resume whale hunting. The announcement concerns this year’s season but could carry into the future.
I’ve been fascinated by the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for as long as I can remember. As a child, I was amazed to see my pet tadpoles slowly transform into fully grown frogs, like magic. Whether it's going for a run or hiking up a mountain, I love to be out in nature. Traveling is another great passion of mine, which has let me discover new cultures and explore different countries throughout Asia. I’m currently living in South Korea, hoping to make a difference by translating articles about issues that really matter.
