My passion for medicinal herbs began when I was 17. I then became fascinated with holism. I live enthusiastically and shared  the “pioneers” period with my husband: during the 1980s and 1990s I wrote for Secondo Natura Erbe and was director of Giornale della Natura. Meanwhile, I studied Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Pedagogy, Anthropology…

Scientific dissemination is the biggest challenge of my life. It means being able to convey useful and correct information in a simple and pleasant way, something I never give up doing. I write for magazines such as Repubblica SaluteAstraFriendlyStarebene and others. I also publish books: “La mia gravidanza”, “I primi mesi di vita del bambino”, “Come difendere i nostri figli dall’inquinamento” and “Sopravvivere alla scuola di tuo figlio” for RED, “Bimbi in forma senza diete” and “Solo ciccia e brufoli?” for Urra-Feltrinelli, and “L’aggressività degli adolescenti” for Mondadori. In these activities I combine what I have learned during years of study and my life experience as mother of two wonderful girls. I am willing to keep on learning and disseminating scientific knowledge.

Favourite quote:

“If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas” (George Bernard Shaw)
