Stefano Corti

General Manager

After a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business, I studied abroad, first in Rotterdam and, after working for a few years, in Paris. Here I was conferred a Master’s degree, the MBA at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, one of the most prestigious international business schools: it was a unique experience.

For many years I worked at Bain & Company, dealing with strategic consulting for Italian and multinational businesses, with significant experience in emerging markets (India, Russia, Turkey, etc.). And then…I arrived at LifeGate.

I’ve been working at LifeGate since 2004 and I supported the development of this “project” with my professional experience, together with that of the entire team: a company aimed at supporting people and businesses in acting responsibly to contribute to the development of a more sustainable planet.

I greatly respect the world we live in: I decided to make this a personal approach and professional commitment.

I love learning, I’m “structurally” curious. In my life and at work I’ve always been attracted to new challenges, ideas and projects. I love travelling to get in touch with different cultures; I travel as soon as I can.

Favorite quote:

“Theory is when you know something, but it doesn’t work. Practice is when something works, but you don’t know why.  We combine theory and practice: now nothing works and we don’t know why!” (Albert Einstein)
