With a degree in Philosophy, I’ve always been fascinated by the reasons underpinning facts and events. My passion for writing and for telling stories, such as those of people and what goes on in the world, stem from my keenness to listen and observe. As an aspiring journalist I try to absorb everything around me to then share it in the form of written text, as well as narrated using my voice. I privilege giving voice to social issues, to people who often don’t have one.

I love travelling, both through films and books, but especially on foot; returning home with my rucksack full of new encounters and stories to put onto paper with ink.

Favourite quote

“I should not like my writing to spare other people the trouble of thinking. But, if possible, to stimulate someone to thoughts of his own” (Ludwig Wittgenstein)
