Born and brought up in a typical Indian village, nature has been my first love since childhood. Poverty, inequality and discrimination in the Indian society are the drivers bringing me to journalism and pursuing me to act as a voice amplifier for the oppressed and deprived. It’s only after becoming a journalist, in 1992, that I realised the need to learn continuously in order to fulfil my passion and grow as a professional. I am still learning and enjoying it at LifeGate.
