FutureCamp Europe is an initiative promoted by Women&Technology as part of the Expo Women Global Forum, organised with the support of Regione Lombardia, the European Union for Expo 2015, the Municipality of Milan, Expo 2015's Scientific Committee and Women for Expo (WE). It is structured over a series of events targeted at young people, teachers and parents who are interested in exploring and understanding how to enter and orient themselves in the emerging European professional sectors in the near future.
The sectors of the future are analysed through the experiences and competencies of people who, in business, universities and research institutions have been able to make a career out their passions. By meeting and confronting themselves with these realities, young people can receive practical information and stimuli to define and construct a professional path that is consistent with their interests as well as the job market's demands.
The 2015 edition (the sixth) of FutureCamp Europe: Job Projects for Young People will take place next 15th of October at the Civic Aquarium of Milan. It will be part of the third edition of European Biotech Week, a whole week dedicated to the biotechnology sector and promoted by EuropaBio. It will be animated by debates pertaining to biotechnology applied to the agro-food, health and manufacturing industries, through the experiences and competencies of young entrepreneurs, teachers and researchers.
